Member Accommodation

Accommodation is only available to Contributing Members. To be a contributing member and receive the associated benefits, the member must be on a club patrols roster and be actively performing those duties or be a member of a committee.

Chiton Rocks Student Camp Information

Location:

Chiton Rocks SLSC is located on the beach between Port Elliot & Victor Harbor, South Australia.

The beachfront accommodation provides easy access to all that the Fleurieu Peninsula has to offer.   All income goes toward improving and maintaining the clubrooms and ensuring a safe swimming environment for the public during summer.  

Quick Facts:

1. Accommodation for up to 32 people.
   (4 bunkhouse rooms with 8 Japanese-style pod beds)
2. Kitchen facilities available.
3. Large lawn area which may be used for camping or activities.
4. Large indoor recreation area / dining hall
5. A perfect base for any camp in the Victor Harbor area.
   (Aquatic camp’s need not drive anywhere.  A number of surf breaks are located
   along the Chiton Beach and there is protected water (no surf), just a 10 minute walk away.)
6. Indoor and outdoor showers
7. BBQ equipment and tools
8. Heating and cooling in the main shared rooms.
9. TV are available for entertainment/educational purposes.

Booking Process: 

Inspections prior to booking are welcome.  Please contact the listed below to arrange an appointment.  Club staff may be available to assist between 11am – 5pm on weekends during the summer patrol season.
